Originally designed as a quick connection system for larger diameter hose, each Storz Type inlet features two or three lugs depending on connection size. Storz connections of the same diameter can be mated. Storz connections can be one quarter turn. Hose ends on Fire Service hose have integrated “lever type lock” to keep connection from disconnecting on hose pressurization or hose movement while under pressure. Working Pressure - 250 psi.
