The large teardrop-shaped opening is compatible with multiple threaded rod diameters, reducing inventory by 50% and has a coined edge on teardrop-shaped opening locks into rod, eliminating shifting during install and providing a secure attachment in seismic zones and complies with NFPA® requirements.
