The VK962 Specific Application Horizontal Sidewall Window Sprinkler is used with fixed glazed assemblies to provide an alternative to a fire resistance rated wall assembly. A Pendent Vertical Sidewall (VSW) window sprinkler, VK960, is also available to meet your design needs. The window sprinklers feature a unique spray pattern that coats the surface of the glass with water, reducing the risk of cracking or shattering in the event of a fire. The special Polyester and Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) coatings can be used in decorative applications where colors are desired. In addition, these coatings have been investigated for installation in corrosive environments and are listed/approved as indicated in the Approval Charts.
